Martín Anselmi picks his top player coached: not from FC Porto

Martín Anselmi, a coach who spent time at FC Porto, identified the best player he has ever coached in his career. The Argentine coach chose Moisés Caicedo, whom he coached at Independiente del Valle during an early stage of his career:

«He is the best player I have coached. From the day he debuted, at his first touch, he controlled the ball against the line, I don't understand how he turned, how he got past two players. I immediately said ‘this guy is special’».

Moisés Caicedo left Independiente del Valle in 2020 for Brighton, in a transfer valued at 28 million euros. He currently plays for Chelsea and, this season, has 17 appearances, four goals, and one assist.
