Just a few days after being dismissed by Botafogo, Martín Anselmi is already being linked with a new club. According to TV Azteca Deportes, the former FC Porto coach is being considered to take charge of Rayados de Monterrey in Mexico, a country where he left a strong impression while in charge of Cruz Azul.

The same outlet states that Anselmi fits the desired profile and highlights the success he enjoyed during his spell in the Mexican league, as well as his knowledge of the competition. The coach had already been linked with Monterrey in the past, a club that has just dismissed Domènec Torrent.
