Matheus Delgado Candançan to officiate Corinthians in Brasileirão for first time | OneFootball

Matheus Delgado Candançan will take charge of Corinthians' match away to Mirassol on Sunday at 20:30 in the 14th round of the Brasileirão at Estádio Campos Maia, according to Meu Timao. The CBF has assigned the São Paulo official to the fixture, his first Corinthians game in the league.

His last Corinthians assignment came more than a year ago, the second leg of the 2025 Paulista final, a 0-0 draw with Palmeiras. Corinthians secured the title after winning the first leg 1-0, Yuri Alberto scoring.

Across 12 Corinthians matches under Candançan, the team have won seven, drawn one and lost four. He has awarded two penalties against Corinthians, as well as 25 yellow cards and two reds.

For this evening's game, Candançan will be assisted by Fabrini Bevilaqua Costa and Miguel Cataneo Ribeiro da Costa. Paulo Roberto Alves Junior is the fourth official, with Marcio Henrique de Gois on VAR.

Corinthians sit 15th on 15 points and need a win to pull away from the relegation zone. Mirassol are second-bottom with nine.
