Michael Carrick has ruled out Patrick Dorgu and Matthijs de Ligt for Manchester United’s Premier League meeting with Leeds United at Old Trafford on Monday night. Lisandro Martinez is back available, while Harry Maguire is suspended.

Dorgu, a Danish international winger, has been sidelined since a hamstring injury in January’s 3-2 win at Arsenal, though he travelled to this week's intensive camp in Dublin. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Carrick said Dorgu remains in rehab and will not feature.

De Ligt is also out, the centre-back is still working back from a back problem and did not travel as he is not yet training on the grass. Carrick added that Dorgu is a little further ahead in his recovery than the Dutchman.

In better news, Martinez is back available after a calf issue that kept him out of the last five games. Carrick said the wider squad is in good shape.

Right-back Diogo Dalot is reportedly expected to be available after illness, as is goalkeeper Tom Heaton. The pair did not travel to Dublin as they recovered.
