Michail Antonio trained with Leicester City on Thursday as the club considers a possible deal, The Telegraph reports. No contract decision has been made.
The 35-year-old was released by West Ham in the summer and has not played a senior club match since breaking his leg in a car accident a year ago.
City have struggled for goals this season, with just four between strikers Jordan Ayew, Patson Daka and Julian Carranza. Two of those have been penalties.
Across 10 seasons at West Ham, Antonio was a consistent scorer, reaching double figures in four straight campaigns from 2019 to 2023. He netted seven in his final full season, then scored once before the injury last term.
He has featured for Jamaica, lining up alongside City attacking midfielder Bobby De Cordova-Reid. Antonio played three times at the Gold Cup in June, but has not appeared in their recent World Cup qualifiers.
After his release he continued to train with West Ham for a spell and played in the Under-21s’ first two Premier League 2 fixtures. City have two spare places in their 25-man EFL squad, so he could be registered without any departures.
