AC Milan’s ambitious pursuit of Dusan Vlahovic has hit a significant roadblock as the financial demands surrounding the Serbian striker begin to mount.

According to Daniele Longo, the Rossoneri are struggling to make headway in a deal for the Juventus forward due to the exorbitant requests coming from his representation. Specifically, Vlahovic’s agent is demanding a commission worth €20 million to facilitate a transfer.

While Milan’s sporting director Igli Tare maintains a positive relationship with the player’s entourage and has been in constant contact to explore a deal, these commission figures are making the move increasingly difficult from a financial perspective. The sheer scale of the auxiliary costs, on top of his salary, is testing the limits of Milan’s budget.

Despite the current stalemate, the situation remains fluid because of the player’s firm stance in Turin. Vlahovic has already informed Milan that he has no intention of renewing his contract with Juventus. While his desire to seek a new challenge is clear, the €20 million hurdle currently stands between him and a potential move to the San Siro.
