Losing in the manner in which AC Milan did last night has caused the already loud protests against individuals at the club to grow in volume, and it seems there is no stopping in sight.

Before the summer, Milan fans protested against the management due to the choice of head coach, and the club listened. Then, in the first half of the season, there were continued protests against the management for a number of reasons.

The majority of frustrations came against the summer mercato, and those involved with the decisions made once again, so, in the January mercato, the club responded, spending heavily.

However, this has had very little effect, so protests have continued to bubble away. So, when the Rossoneri conceded twice in 20 minutes, you could audibly hear the atmosphere change, with the game already past the Diavolo, despite their comeback tag.

Calciomercato.com relays information from Milan News, which states that the game offered a chance to start the larger comeback, and this was the viewpoint of the travelling supporters. So, fans opened with chants of support, but that quickly changed.

Two goals down and no sign of that changing for the better, the noise began, with fans voicing their frustrations against the players and staff, then, ‘Il Milan siamo noi’ and ‘Cardinale devi vendere’.

‘Milan, we are us’, and ‘Cardinale, you have to sell’. Loud and clear. We will see what action arrives, if any, from the management, but it certainly won’t be an easy fix.
