Moisés bids farewell to Fortaleza after Santos move confirmed | OneFootball

Santos have officially unveiled forward Moisés on a three-year deal, and he has said goodbye to Fortaleza on social media on Wednesday 11.

The player said in a post that his two spells across three and a half years marked his life, that he grew as an athlete and as a man, and that he is grateful to team-mates, staff and supporters. He added that every battle and lesson mattered and that he moves on with the same hunger and determination.

Moisés joins permanently for 2 million euros, with a further 1 million euros in performance-related bonuses. He had been under contract at Fortaleza until December 2027.

Santos registered the forward in the CBF’s BID on Wednesday, making him available to face Athletico-PR on Thursday 12 at 19:00 at Arena da Baixada in the third round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Born in Morro da Fumaça, Santa Catarina, Moisés began at Hercílio Luz, then played for Concórdia, Brusque and Ponte Preta before joining Fortaleza in 2022. He also had a spell with Cruz Azul in Mexico before returning to Brazil. His honours include the 2019 Copa Santa Catarina with Brusque, plus the Copa do Nordeste in 2022 and 2024 and the Campeonato Cearense in 2022 and 2023 with Fortaleza.

He becomes Santos’ fourth signing of the season, alongside midfielder Gabriel Menino on loan from Atlético-MG, centre-forward Gabriel Barbosa on loan from Cruzeiro, and Rony on a permanent deal.
