Monaco predicted XI v Angers: Eric Dier out of Sébastien Pocognoli’s first game | OneFootball

Sébastien Pocognoli will take charge of his first game as manager of AS Monaco when they travel to face SCO Angers on Saturday.

There are many uncertainties about the line-up, not least about the formation. Pocognoli, in the long run, wants to set his team up in a 3-4-1-2, however, with Eric Dier sustaining an injury in midweek, he may not have the defenders to do this against Angers.

Monaco may therefore keep with the back four; it has already been confirmed that Thilo Kehrer will captain the side. Pocognoli can count on some returning players. Whilst Paul Pogba has suffered a setback and will miss out, Aladji Bamba and Aleksandr Golovin are both expected to be in the squad.
