Aston Villa have announced that Morgan Rogers has signed a new long-term contract, keeping him at Villa Park until 2031.
The new agreement extends the 23-year-old’s current deal by a further year and includes a handsome pay rise, recognising both his impressive form and growing importance under Unai Emery.
Since joining from Middlesbrough in February 2024, Rogers has established himself as a key figure in Emery’s side, and his performances have also earned him a regular place in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad.
Rogers enjoyed a standout season last year, finishing with 14 goals and 13 assists, and he’s already added a goal and three assists in 16 appearances so far this campaign.
This latest deal marks his third contract in under two years, showing just how quickly his stock has risen at Villa Park. It also follows the lead of teammates John McGinn, Matty Cash, Lucas Digne and Boubacar Kamara, who have all recently signed new deals.
It’s another signal of intent from Villa, who continue to secure the core of Emery’s squad as they look to build on their recent progress both domestically and in Europe.
