Nadson Juan made his Santos first-team debut in a 2-1 win at Noroeste in the seventh round of the Paulistão on Sunday.

He came on at 42 minutes of the second half at Alfredo de Castilho in Bauru, wearing the number 57 on his first senior squad appearance under coach Vojvoda. According to Diario Do Peixe, overseas clubs have already shown interest, which the board have dismissed.

He marked the moment on social media, calling it one of the most special days of his life and a dream realised, while stressing the need to keep his feet on the ground.

The group behind Nottingham Forest considered a 5 million euro offer for the forward. It is owned by Vangelis Marinakis, whose portfolio also includes Rio Ave and Olympiacos.

An Arabian club considered 7 million euros, but Santos believe he is worth more than double. He featured in the Copinha, has since trained with the first team, and the club view this as preparation for the future.

He recently turned 17 and can only move abroad once he is of age. He signed his first professional deal last year, tying him to Santos until 23 January 2028. He joined in 2019 at under-11 level, helped win the Copa Votorantim under-15 title, and last year became the club’s youngest Copinha registrant while splitting time between the under-17s and under-20s.
