Julian Nagelsmann kept his plans for Germany’s meeting with Ghana on Monday under wraps, indicating any rotation depends on player fitness after the Switzerland game.
According to BuLi News, he had revealed his XI a day before facing Switzerland, but was more guarded over Monday’s fixture in Stuttgart.
In Basel on Friday he limited changes to four substitutions, despite the scope for mass rotation in the friendly. Switzerland made wholesale changes, effectively fielding two teams.
Real Madrid centre-back Antonio Rüdiger and in-form striker Deniz Undav were among those who did not get on.
Post-match, Nagelsmann said they would first assess how the squad came through, then determine who is ready to face Ghana.
