The LFFP’s “Au Stade pour elles” weekend, with all fixtures staged in major venues, drew a combined 69,313 across Arkema Première Ligue’s 19th round.
In a league statement, LFFP president Jean-Michel Aulas said the round would be a landmark, praising clubs for using the country’s biggest stadiums and saying new records across several grounds underlined momentum and sent a strong signal to players, supporters, broadcasters and partners.
The headline crowd came at the Orange Vélodrome, where 35,713 watched OM lose 1-2 to MHSC, a new record in the French Championship.
In Nantes, Nicolas Chabot’s side were beaten 1-2 by PSG despite 15,073 in attendance.
AS Saint-Étienne defeated Lens 2-1 at Geoffroy-Guichard before 8,825, a club record for the Vertes that topped the previous best of 4,037.
Strasbourg held OL Lyonnes 2-2 at La Meinau with 6,275 present.
