Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport published claims that Juventus are plotting a significant move for Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali. This means the Serie A club remains eager to beef up its midfield options next year.

Sandro Tonali and Jonathan David swap?

They have picked the 25-year-old as a leading candidate for this role. Tonali joined the Magpies from AC Milan in July 2023. Since then, Tonali  has rebuilt his name following a suspension for breaching betting rules.

He has become a vital part of Eddie Howe’s setup. On top of that, he has made dozens of appearances for the Tyneside club while contributing important goals and assists from the middle of the park.
