There are six Serie A players handed one-match bans for this weekend, but Inter captain Lautaro Martinez will not be suspended over allegations of a blasphemous phrase.
The Lega Serie A sporting justice system handed out bans to Parma defender Giovanni Leoni, Verona’s Domagoj Bradaric, Fiorentina’s Robin Gosens, Monza player Armando Izzo, Adam Masina of Torino and Lazio midfielder Nicolò Rovella.

There had been calls from some sections of the media for Lautaro Martinez to face disciplinary action after a few thought they had lip-read a blasphemous phrase following the final whistle of Inter’s defeat to Juventus.
This is considered the worst type of swearing in the Italian language and is usually followed by a one-match ban.
However, as the referee’s report did not include it and the footage was purely lip-reading rather than audio, which can be very similar to a phrase that is not offensive, then no further action will be taken.
Lazio were fined €8,000 for insulting chants and throwing of objects, while Roma were fined €4,000, Genoa €3,000 and Bologna €2,000 all for their fans throwing objects.
Como were fined €2,000 for delaying the start of the second half by two minutes without justification.
