Nottingham Forest set to appoint new boss after sacking Nuno Espirito Santo
Nottingham Forest have sacked manager Nuno Espirito Santo following a reported breakdown in his relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Nuno's dismissal came after he publicly questioned the club's transfer activity and his working relationship with global head of football Edu Gaspar deteriorated.
Ange Postecoglou is expected to be appointed as Nuno's successor at the City Ground.
Postecoglou, who recently left Tottenham in June, led them to Europa League glory but a 17th-place league finish during his two seasons.
The new appointment would see Postecoglou return to Premier League management and European football with Forest.
