Nottingham Forest 'to bid for' Galatasaray star Roland Sallai this summer | OneFootball

According to Football Insider, Nottingham Forest are preparing an ambitious summer move for Galatasaray’s versatile attacker Roland Sallai.

Owner Evangelos Marinakis is said to be ready to hand manager Vítor Pereira significant funds to overhaul the squad for 2026/27, with Sallai viewed as a priority target.

The Hungarian international is seen as a high-quality option for the wide areas, potentially upgrading on current choices such as Ola Aina.

Any deal is expected to be difficult. Galatasaray, fresh from another Süper Lig title, regard Sallai as integral and have no intention of selling, with the Istanbul club prepared to do everything possible to keep the 29-year-old.

Sallai’s versatility and work rate have drawn interest across Europe, with regular roles on both flanks for club and country. While the pull of the Premier League and Forest’s backing could test Galatasaray’s resolve, the Turkish side remain determined to resist approaches.
