FC Barcelona have officially announced that the men’s first team will return to the Spotify Camp Nou on Friday, 7 November, for an open training session in front of fans.
The event will also serve as a technical and operational test to ensure the proper functioning of systems, access points, and other aspects of the facility as part of the stadium’s progressive reopening process.
As per the information published by the club, the training session will start at 11:00 a.m. on 7 November, with doors opening at 9:30 a.m.
Ticket prices are set at €5 for members and €10 for the general public. All proceeds will go directly to the Pulseras Blaugranas Project, an initiative led by the Barça Foundation.
Attendance will be limited to 23,000 spectators, seated in the Tribuna and Gol Sur areas – corresponding to Phase 1A, for which the club already holds the occupancy licence from the City Council.
The idea is to use this training session as a pilot test for the stadium facilities, ahead of a potential return for a match later in November.
As things stand, the game against Athletic Club, on 22 November, has been earmarked as the one that will reopen the renovated Spotify Camp Nou after numerous setbacks and delays.
The hope is that Barça manage to get the occupancy licence pertaining to Phase 1B of the project, which would allow 45,000 fans into the stadium.
“The team is excited to welcome back Barça fans to their new home and share this first reunion with them at the Spotify Camp Nou. In the coming days, the Club will provide all the information regarding access and travel recommendations for this special day,” the statement concluded.
