FC Barcelona are set to return to Champions League action tonight as they welcome FC Copenhagen to the Spotify Camp Nou for the final match of the league phase. It is a decisive encounter for the Catalans, who are still battling to finish inside the top eight and secure direct qualification to the Round of 16.
With everything on the line, Hansi Flick knows that his side must claim all three points at home and may also need a favourable goal difference compared to their closest rivals. The German coach will therefore be hoping for a strong performance from his players in what promises to be a high-intensity clash.
Ahead of the crucial clash, Barcelona have now officially announced the squad that will be available to Flick for the visit of the Danish champions as he looks to navigate a challenging situation caused by several key absences.
Frenkie de Jong is unavailable due to suspension, while Pedri has been ruled out after picking up a muscle injury last week against Slavia Praha, forcing Flick to rethink his midfield setup for the game. Gavi and Andreas Christensen remain sidelined as they continue their recovery from long-term injuries.
On the positive side, Ferran Torres has returned to the squad after receiving medical clearance. The Spanish forward is back after overcoming a muscular injury. Although he is unlikely to start, he could play an important role as a substitute.
