Kaizer Chiefs have announced the exit of goalkeeper Bontle Molefe, who is set to join Leicesterford City on loan until the remainder of the season.

The 23-year-old goalie rose through the club's youth ranks, and was rewarded with promotion to the first-team in the 2018/19 campaign.

However, Molefe is yet to make his senior team debut for Chiefs, with competition for a starting spot between the sticks rife.

Now, he is set for a new chapter in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, where he will be eager to accumulate professional football experience and ample game time.

Molefe's new club sits ninth on the second tier log standings, having picked up 21 points in 16 matches.

The shot-stopper will be itching to start when Leicersterford visit relegation-threatened Midland Wanderers on Saturday.
