A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has on Wednesday secured for himself a prestigious individual award.
The player in question? Jude Bellingham.
Youngster Bellingham is for his part fresh off another impressive campaign in the colours of Real Madrid in 2024/25.
Though the 21-year-old failed to hit the heights of his spectacular debut season in Spain’s capital, he nevertheless notched a head-turning 15 goals and 15 assists across all competitions.
This came courtesy of a hefty 58 appearances in the colours of Los Blancos.
On the national team front, meanwhile, Bellingham continued to act as a pivotal member of England’s midfield setup, considered one of the first names on the Three Lions team sheet.
And as alluded to above, this week, such endeavours have culminated in the former Borussia Dortmund scooping an individual award.
As announced across the English national team’s website and social media platforms on Wednesday:
‘Jude Bellingham has been named as the 2024-25 England men’s senior player of the year connected by EE.
‘The Real Madrid and Three Lions midfielder was voted for by supporters as the standout male player across last season, ahead of Declan Rice in second spot and Harry Kane in third.’
