Official release – Newcastle United and Benfica media schedules made public

The media schedules for both Newcastle United an Benfica have now been made public.

An official club release (see below) from the Portuguese club revealing the details.

Benfica will allow the media in for the first 15 minutes of Monday’s training in Portugal, then Jose Mourinho and his squad will fly to Newcastle on a charter flight at 3.35pm tomorrow.

Mourinho and one of his players will then be on media duties, speaking to journalists, at 7.30pm on Monday night.

As for Newcastle United, they will allow media access at the same time (11am) on Monday at training for 15 minutes.

With then Eddie Howe and one of the NUFC players on media duties at 4pm tomorrow afternoon.

The press program for the professional football teams of SL Benfica and Newcastle for Matchday 3 of the Champions League (league phase) in England is now set.

The match, to be played at St. James’ Park, is scheduled to kick off at 8 pm on Tuesday, October 21.
