Official: Roma buy Koulierakis from Wolfsburg for €16.5m plus bonus | OneFootball

Konstantinos Koulierakis has officially completed his transfer to Roma from Wolfsburg for a reported fee of €16.5m plus add-ons, including a 20 per cent cut of the future sale.

The Greece international underwent his medical tests today and put pen to paper on a five-year contract.

According to Il Tempo, the cost of the operation is €16.5m plus €1.5m in add-ons and a 20 per cent cut of the future sale fee.

The defender will wear shirt number 33 for the Giallorossi.

Koulierakis adds to Roma defence

Koulierakis is 22 years old and made his senior debut for Greece in 2022, so already has 22 caps under his belt.

He was a product of the PAOK Salonika youth academy and made the move to Wolfsburg in 2024 for approximately €11.75m.

There had also been interest from Crystal Palace and Benfica, but Roma completed the transfer this evening to bolster their defensive options.

He is expected to be an understudy to Mario Hermoso rather than a first choice.
