South African club Orlando Pirates has named defender Nkosinathi Sibisi as the new captain of the first team, taking over from Innocent Maela.This decision is part of a strategy focused on Sibisi's strong leadership and experience, both on and off the pitch.He will be supported by Tapelo Xoki and Mbekeli Mbokazi, who have been named vice-captains.

In his first statement as captain, Sibisi expressed his pride and determination:

Meanwhile, an internal source has denied rumors of an official offer from Egyptian club Pyramids FC for the young sensation Relebohile Mofokeng (20).
