Galatasaray beat Beşiktaş 1-0 in İstanbul to stay top of the Süper Lig, Victor Osimhen deciding it with a header in the first half as Ugurcan Cakir starred in goal.

In the 39th minute, Victor Osimhen glanced in Leroy Sané's cross into the bottom right corner to break the deadlock.

Cakir made seven saves as Aslan held firm. Kara Kartal tallied 24 attempts and 60% possession, repeatedly forcing the visitors to defend deep.

After the restart, Kara Kartal cranked up the pressure, with Orkun Kökçü drawing Cakir into further stops and Hyeon-gyu Oh heading wide in the closing stages.
