“It hurts so much,” said Ousmane Dembélé as he clutched his hamstring after Paris Saint-Germain’s 1-0 win over OGC Nice on Saturday. However, despite the Ballon d’Or winner still struggling for fitness since returning from a hamstring injury, suffered while he was on international duty in September, Luis Enrique has said that he will face Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
PSG will host Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League tomorrow night. On the eve of the encounter, Dembélé did train with his teammates. Luis Enrique has said that while he “does not take risks” with his players, he will play the France international, who was seen complaining to his team-mate, Achraf Hakimi, about the state of his hamstring just two days ago.
“Tomorrow, he will play,” confirmed the PSG manager. The Spaniard confirmed that the winger had trained fully over the course of the past two weeks, and has also played in Les Parisiens’ past two games, notably netting against Bayer Leverkusen.
