Palmeiras have confirmed a new commercial deal with Leapmotor, an electrified-vehicle brand within the Stellantis group, whose logo will appear on the back of the men’s, women’s and academy shirts until March 2028.
According to Nosso Palestra, the agreement is for a two-year term and is worth around R$ 20 million in fixed fees per season, plus performance-related bonuses.
Initially, the deal does not include the main front-of-shirt slot for academy teams, which the club will negotiate independently.
Club president Leila Pereira said the partnership reflects Palmeiras’ drive for progress and future-focused collaborations, adding that Leapmotor’s emphasis on new technology and sustainable mobility aligns with the club’s responsibility agenda.
The tie-up also fits Leapmotor’s expansion in Brazil, with operations starting in late 2025 and a showcase at last year’s Auto Show. Felipe Daemon, the company’s head of South American operations, said the agreement signals confidence in the Brazilian market and complements long-term plans for local production, network growth and a wider range.
The sponsor is scheduled to debut on 8 April, when Palmeiras face Junior Barranquilla in Colombia in the first round of the 2026 Copa Libertadores.
Founded in 2015 by electrical engineer Zhu Jiangming, Leapmotor is based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, and develops and manufactures intelligent electrified vehicles, spanning design, R&D, motor control, battery systems and cloud-based connected solutions.
