Lucas Paquetá has yet to sign his Flamengo contract, so his name remains absent from the CBF’s BID.

According to Globo.com, the club believe the signature will come soon and expect him to be registered in time for Sunday’s Supercopa final against Corinthians in Brasília.

He must first resolve a private matter with West Ham to sign a five-year deal, an issue that is close to being settled. Paquetá trained on Friday. Flamengo believe his name will be on the BID by 18:00 and plan to present him on Saturday before the squad travel.

If registered, he would have two days of training and be available for the final. There is hope he could play a few minutes. The scenario mirrors Danilo last year, announced on 29 January before appearing late in the 2025 Supercopa against Botafogo on 2 February.

Paquetá last played on 6 January, a defeat for West Ham at Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. He subsequently reported back pain and asked not to train or play, and was unwilling to feature until the Flamengo situation was resolved. His physical condition will not prevent a debut on Sunday, if he is registered.
