Parma director Federico Cherubini warns Inter that the Ducali expect a quick offer for Ange-Yoan Bonny and feels that Carlos Cuesta’s age and background can fit in well at the Stadio Tardini.
Parma director Cherubini provided the latest updates on negotiations with Inter for French striker Bonny.
“It’s known that they are very interested; we’ll discuss it soon, in accordance with Inter’s commitments in the Club World Cup,” Cherubini told La Gazzetta di Parma via Calciomercato.com.

“Bonny received several offers in January already, but we asked him to stay and help Parma secure survival, promising that we’d match his demands at the end of the season.

“That’s what we’ll do, respecting the ambition of playing in the most prestigious stages, but we’ll discuss reasonable proposals for Parma’s good. This means an interesting offer must arrive soon because we don’t want to negotiate until the end of August.”
Football Italia reported this morning that Inter are also in a hurry to secure an agreement with Parma for Bonny.
The 21-year-old striker is valued at €25m, and Inter are willing to finalise a deal in the coming days, with or without including Sebastiano Esposito in the deal.

Cherubini also confirmed Parma are likely to appoint Carlos Cuesta as their new head coach. The 29-year-old is a former assistant of Mikel Arteta at Arsenal and has already arrived in Italy, thanking the Gunners and their boss.
“It’s not done yet, but that’s the orientation,” said Cherubini.
“We’ve studied his profile with attention, and we are convinced he’s the right person to begin a new cycle at Parma. We are working to finalise the agreement. We believe his young age and his background can fit in well at Parma.”
Cherubini added that promising defender Giovanni Leoni and goalkeeper Zion Suzuki are not up for sale
