Real Madrid have officially unveiled their home kit for the 2026/27 season, introducing a fresh design that breaks with several traditions while maintaining the club’s iconic identity.

The launch comes at a significant moment for the club, with the presidential elections approaching and excitement already building around the new campaign.

As expected from previous leaks, the shirt remains predominantly white but introduces a colour combination that has never been used in this way before on a Real Madrid home kit.

A different design

Dark green features prominently across the branding, while Adidas have also incorporated pink details into the design, creating a distinctive look that immediately stands out from previous editions.

The new jersey marks the first time that two additional colours have been incorporated alongside the traditional white base in such a prominent manner.

The dark green elements appear across the sponsor branding, while the Adidas stripes on the shoulders feature pink accents that the manufacturer believes add a fresh identity to the shirt.

Additional green detailing is visible around the collar and sleeve edges, while a subtle checkered pattern has been incorporated into the white fabric to give the shirt a more modern appearance.

Describing the shirt, the club explained, “It is a kit with a modern design, incorporating graphic elements inspired by the crown jewels of our club’s crest, reflecting excellence, craftsmanship and a winning mentality.

“Designed to meet the demands of elite performance, the shirt features the latest adidas technology to maximise airflow and keep players cool during matches.”

A brand new image

The official launch video featured several of the club’s biggest stars, including Jude Bellingham, Aurelien Tchouameni, Brahim Diaz, Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, Antonio Rudiger and Dean Huijsen.

Beyond showcasing the club’s latest kit, the presentation may also have provided an interesting hint regarding Real Madrid’s plans for next season.

One of the most notable inclusions in the promotional campaign was Antonio Rudiger.

While the club have yet to make any official announcement regarding his future, his prominent appearance in the launch material strongly suggests he remains part of the plans for the upcoming campaign.
