Real Madrid dealt last-minute injury blow, just hours before Las Palmas clash | OneFootball

Real Madrid are set to host Las Palmas this afternoon at the Bernabéu in a fixture which could see them go top of the pile in La Liga.

Carlo Ancelotti and his side have been dealt an extremely late injury blow however, as it was announced on club social media just minutes ago that Aurélien Tchouaméni is set to miss the match due to injury.

The club have understandably been quite vague about the nature of the injury he has suffered, stating only that he has suffered discomfort in his left leg.

The Frenchman played all 120 minutes of his side’s cup tie against Celta Vigo midweek, so it is highly possible that this discomfort stems from fatigue after such a mammoth clash.

This isn’t the first brush with injury that the 24-year-old has faced, having spent over a month on the sidelines already this season.

We likely won’t find out the severity of Tchouaméni’s injury until after today’s match, but in the meantime, Real Madrid will have to figure out what changes they are going to make to their starting XI, which was likely already picked.
