Real Madrid set for another sell-on clause transfer boost | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid are all set for another imminent boost on the financial front.

This comes amid the understanding that defender Mario Gila is on the verge of taking his talents from Lazio to Serie A rivals Napoli.

Gila, fresh off another impressive individual campaign on the books of Lazio, has agreed to link up with Massimiliano Allegri’s side in a €15 million transfer.

Those in the boardroom at San Siro, though, are not the only ones set to benefit financially from the deal… So too, as alluded to above, will be Florentino Pérez and the Real Madrid brass.

Gila for his part spent four years developing on the books of Los Blancos earlier in his career, giving rise to a pair of La Liga appearances.

As part of the terms of the deal which sent the Spaniard to Italy, Real, in turn, secured for themselves a 50% sell-on clause.

As per a report from COPE, a €7.5 million cash injection is therefore imminent at the Santiago Bernabéu.
