Real Madrid star nominated for international award | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has this week secured a nomination for an international prize.

The player in question? Kylian Mbappé.

Frontman Mbappé was for his part back in action on the international front on Friday night.

The 26-year-old, in the midst of a blistering recent spell of form, was afforded a starting berth in France’s World Cup qualifying meeting with Azerbaijan.

And en route to an eventual 3-0 Les Bles triumph, Mbappé proved himself the star of the show.

The former PSG man opened the scoring at the Parc des Princes, before laying on the assist for his country’s 2nd.

And it was the former effort which has since culminated in Mbappé securing a nomination for an individual award.

As revealed across UEFA’s social media platforms, the attacker has been put forward for Goal of the Round in the latest round of European World Cup qualifiers.
