Rennes’ Jérémy Jacquet makes Chelsea preference | OneFootball

Stade Rennais’ Jérémy Jacquet (20) has given his preference to a move to Chelsea, as per a report from Sky Sports.

The Frenchman has been heavily coveted during the January transfer window, however, amid interest from Chelsea, but also from the likes of Liverpool and Bayern Munich, it is now expected that he will remain with the Breton club. That was Les Rennais wish in any case. Even in the event of an agreement being reached with another club, they had set retaining Jacquet on loan until the end of the season as one of the terms that would have to be agreed.

His future remains up in the air. But, as per Sky Sports, a preference has emerged. It is understood that Jacquet favours a move to Stamford Bridge. That is despite the interest expressed by other clubs. Talks between Rennes and Chelsea are ongoing, even though it is thought that a deal this month may be difficult.
