Chelsea are one of three Premier League teams who could consider signing Denzel Dumfries in the coming months according to reports.
The Blues have had a busy summer in which they’ve made six first team signings, with five of those attackers, as the front line underwent a major revamp.
The signing of Jorrel Hato was also important as Chelsea finally addressed the lack of back-up for Marc Cucurella at left back.
However, despite the window only closing at the start of the month, Chelsea have continued to be linked with players.
According to Fichajes Chelsea are one of three Premier League clubs along with Manchester United and Arsenal, who could consider signing the 29-year-old in the upcoming months.

The right back has been at Inter Milan since 2021, but has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, although it hasn’t yet materialised.
The report adds the price for the Dutch international is expected to be around €25-€30m, which isn’t a lot for a player of his quality.
Dumfries is known for his attacking quality, but given Chelsea already have both Reece James and Malo Gusto, it doesn’t make much sense for the Blues to try and add another right back to the squad.
Chelsea have been linked with Dumfries in the past, but the Dutchman is also outside the age the Blues generally recruit at, so it’s very hard to see this happening.
Right back is arguably one of the strongest areas in Chelsea’s squad, and they have two great options in James and Gusto.
James seems to have finally put his injury issues behind him, and that’s a credit to him and how Enzo Maresca has managed him.

The 25-year-old is now back in the England set-up and seems to be Thomas Tuchel’s preferred option at right back, whilst Darren Bent would have James as first choice right back in his strongest Three Lions team.
