Report – Fiorentina & Bologna Set To Rival Real Betis For Inter Milan & Albania EURO 2024 Star | OneFootball

Bologna and Fiorentina have joined Real Betis in the race for outgoing Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani.

Per TMW via FCInterNews, Asllani’s future could be in Serie A after he turned down Betis’ offer.

Now on the market after falling out of favor with Cristian Chivu, Asllani looks set to leave San Siro in the coming weeks.

However, the 23-year-old has already rejected Betis, although Los Verdiblancos were close to agreeing terms with Inter.

There’s no place for Kristjan Asllani in Chivu’s project.

As such, the Nerazzurri have put him up for sale, which has seemingly drawn attention in Serie A.

Indeed, Inter already tried to negotiate his move to Bologna during talks for Giovanni Fabbian.

However, negotiations never took off, leaving the door open for other suitors.

Fiorentina could soon swoop in and bring Asllani to Florence.

New manager Stefano Pioli is an admirer of the ex-Empoli midfielder.

Therefore, he has instructed the club to broker Asllani’s arrival after a failed attempt to sign Adrian Bernabe.
