Report unhappy De Bruyne can be approached by Galatasaray | OneFootball

Galatasaray are reportedly planning a proposal to sign Kevin De Bruyne from Napoli, as the Belgium international is frustrated with the club strategy.

The veteran was a free agent when he joined Napoli last summer after a lengthy spell with Manchester City.

Even before the serious injury that kept him out of action from October 2025 to March 2026, he had expressed irritation with coach Antonio Conte’s tactics.

Criticising them several times for being too negative and defensive, De Bruyne certainly isn’t seeing much improvement on that score with the arrival of new boss Max Allegri.

According to transfer pundit Ekrem Konur, Galatasaray are hoping to take advantage by coming in with a lucrative two-year contract.

Although Napoli have been adamant that De Bruyne is under lock and key, he just turned 35 and wouldn’t be too upset to get his salary off their books.

He only managed to make 21 appearances in the Napoli jersey during his first season, but still contributed a strong five goals and four assists.
