Inter Milan striker Ange-Yoan Bonny had to come off early in the second half during last night’s Coppa Italia win against Torino.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, Cristian Chivu decided to withdraw the Frenchman as a precaution.
Bonny got the nod in attack ahead of Francesco Pio Esposito and Lautaro Martinez, as he partnered up with Marcus Thuram in the final third.
While Thuram failed to find the back of the net, the 22-year-old opened the scoring with his seventh domestic goal of the season.
Indeed, he headed home an inch-perfect cross from Issiaka Kamate late in the first half to give Inter a slender halftime lead.

Despite adding to his ever-growing tally, Bonny had to leave the pitch in the 56th minute, with Esposito taking his place.
Indeed, the Frenchman appeared to be struggling with a minor fitness problem, forcing Cristian Chivu to introduce the young Italian striker.
