Rob Edwards says Wolves will be without goalkeeper Sam Johnstone at Leeds United on Saturday, with a late decision to be made on Matt Doherty. Centre-back Yerson Mosquera is also out through suspension.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Johnstone sustained a shoulder injury and, like Doherty after a knock, missed last Friday’s match at West Ham. There had been reports the keeper’s season may be over.
Wolves were beaten 4-0 at the London Stadium, and Mosquera received his 10th booking of the season, triggering a two-match ban.
At his Friday press conference, Edwards confirmed Johnstone would not be available for Elland Road and said Doherty was pushing to be involved, with a late call to follow. Earlier, he had been hopeful the full-back could return to face the Whites.
Elsewhere, winger Enso González has not featured for the first team this season. He last played in February for the under-21s before suffering a meniscus injury that required surgery, which was initially put at around two months out.
