Rob Edwards rules out Sam Johnstone for Leeds, late decision on Matt Doherty as Mosquera banned | OneFootball

Rob Edwards has ruled Sam Johnstone out of Saturday’s trip to Leeds United, with Matt Doherty subject to a late decision. Yerson Mosquera is also unavailable through suspension.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Johnstone has a shoulder injury and Doherty recently picked up a knock. Neither player was in the squad for last Friday’s match at West Ham.

Mosquera collected his 10th booking of the season during the 4-0 defeat at West Ham, triggering a two-match ban.

There had been suggestions Johnstone’s season may be over, though Edwards has only confirmed he will miss the Elland Road fixture.

Winger Enso González has not featured for the first team this season. After a run with the under-21s ended in February, he suffered a meniscus injury that required surgery and was initially expected to need around two months out.
