Roma is working to bring Gian Piero Gasperini the first reinforcements of the summer transfer window, with a particular focus on key positions.
On the defensive front, one of the most popular names is Daniele Ghilardi, a Verona centerback born in 2003.

In the last few hours, according to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the Giallorossi management submitted an offer of around €10 million, beating out competition from Real Betis.
Ghilardi is considered a promising prospect, well-suited to bolster the new manager’s defensive line.
Discussions between the parties are ongoing, and Roma hopes to complete the deal quickly.
