Santos agree terms with Michael, Flamengo ‘to give OK’ for transfer | OneFootball

Michael has moved closer to a 2026 Flamengo exit after agreeing contract length and salary with Santos. The club now awaits Flamengo’s response.

According to ESPN, Flamengo only need to give the OK for Santos to finalise the signing. That approval would clear the way for the forward to join this season.

Santos are prepared to pay four million dollars, R$ 21 million at current rates. Flamengo would keep 20 percent of his economic rights for any future sale.

Michael has had two spells at Flamengo, from 2020 to 2021 and from 2024 to 2025. In the latter, he made 45 appearances with six goals and five assists. He lost his place under Filipe Luís and even featured for the under-20s in the final round of the 2025 Brasileirão against Mirassol.

Flamengo return to action on Wednesday 21 to face Vasco at the Maracanã. The Clássico dos Milhões kicks off at 21:30 Brasília time in the third round of the Carioca.
