Tartan Army descend on Foxborough once again as last-32 berth within reach
The Tartan Army’s stay in Boston will come to a close this evening as Scotland face Morocco in their penultimate World Cup group stage match. The Scots come into the tie sitting atop Group C, after edging past Haiti last week, thanks to John McGinn’s decisive first-half strike.
As such, they can confirm their place in the round of 32 with a win here, but Morocco will pose a much, much stiffer opposition than Haiti, one of the lowest-ranked teams in the competition. Morocco held Brazil to a 1-1 draw in their own World Cup opener with Ismael Saibari’s opener cancelled out by a well-hit strike from Vinicius Jr, and will be fully intent on securing their first three points of the summer here.
Arsenal transfer target Ayyoub Bouaddi is expected to start in the heart of midfield and will be one ot keep an eye on after his dazzling debut on the global stage last week.
