German giants Bayern Munich have mocked Chelsea with a Facebook post ahead of their big clash tomorrow night.

The Blues travel to Germany to face the Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich as they return back to the Champions League again this season.

We have already heard about a big boost that Enzo Maresca and Chelsea have received ahead of the game with the return to training of one key player after he missed our 2-2 draw against Brentford on Saturday night.

And then the mind games have begun ahead of the game tomorrow night with Bayern Munich’s director claiming that the inside knowledge of Nicolas Jackson will give them the edge against Chelsea.

Jackson of course is now on loan at Bayern Munich for the season and he is eligible to face his parent club in the competition tomorrow night.

Further digs online

Bayern are truly playing the game now, and as you can see from the image above that I screenshot for SPTC’s live blog today, they are really going big with the Jackson thing.

‘See you soon’ is the captain that is a bit prerogative and a cheeky little dig at Chelsea and the fact that Jackson will be facing up against the club that still owns him tomorrow night.

Not sure why he can play

I have no idea why the club would allow Jackson to be able to play against them in the Champions League. Usually clubs can put a clause in the loan contract to say that said player cannot face them, and I believe there are rules in the Premier League that prevent it. But it looks like Chelsea didn’t put anything in the contract, nor does there appear to be any rules from UEFA preventing a loan player featuring against their parent club!
