Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw has been nominated for September’s PFA WSL Fans’ Player of the Month award.

The Jamaican has started the campaign in fine form with three WSL goals in September.

She followed that up with the opening goal in our dramatic 3-2 win over Arsenal to kickstart October, meaning her current tally now stands at four in five matches.

Melvine Malard, Aggie Beever-Jones and Ornella Vignola have also scored four, but Shaw’s assist for Aoba Fujino against Tottenham Hotspur sees her sit top of the scoring charts.

Bunny opened her account for 2025/26 with a diving header against Brighton & Hove Albion as we came from behind to beat the Seagulls in our first home match of the season.

She then added her assist for Fujino against Spurs, before scoring a brace against London City Lionesses in a 4-1 win at the Joie Stadium.

A two-time WSL Golden Boot winner, Shaw’s brought far more than her goals to Andrée Jeglertz’s side so far this season with her excellent holdup play and work rate off the ball also essential to our strong start.

She faces competition from Beever-Jones, Malard, Brighton goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Arsenal’s Alessia Russo and Spurs’ Cathinka Tandberg for the award.
