Slimane sparks Norwich City as visitors climb to 16th | OneFootball

Norwich City beat Leicester City 2-0, climbing from 17th to 16th in the Championship thanks to second half goals from Anis Ben Slimane and Ali Ahmed.

In the 68th minute, Slimane drove a right-footed strike from outside the box into the bottom left after Sam Field teed him up.

Ahmed then turned in from the left side of the six-yard box following a set piece (78.). Moments earlier, Errol Mundle-Smith had been denied by Jakub Stolarczyk.

Stolarczyk finished with six saves as the Foxes battled to stay in it. Vladan Kovacevic was alert at the other end, gathering Stephy Mavididi's close-range header and blocking Patson Daka as the Canaries protected their advantage.

The Canaries registered eight shots on target from 12 attempts, underscoring their cutting edge. The Foxes posted three on-target efforts from 10.
