The French Football Federation said it has signed a long-term agreement with GL Events for the Stade de France in Saint-Denis to host major France men’s fixtures and the Coupe de France final until 2055.
The deal runs in two phases. Until 2030, while renovation works are carried out, the federation can schedule matches there subject to opportunities, stadium availability and progress on the upgrades.
From 2030 to the end of the concession in 2055, the FFF commits to staging at the Stade de France the six best France men’s A-team fixtures in each two-season period, and the Coupe de France Crédit Agricole final every year.
After uncertainty caused by major works on RER lines B and D, the 2026 Coupe de France final will take place at the Stade de France on Friday 22 May at 21:00. It had initially been set for Saturday 23 May.
France will return to the Stade de France on two October to face Italy in the Nations League. In recent months, their final home qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup were played at the Parc des Princes.
Since opening in January 1998, the stadium has hosted 116 France matches. GL Events has also struck an arrangement with the French Rugby Federation for five matches a year at the venue.
