Check out the standout facts and figures from the 1-1 draw between Paris and Nantes in last night’s rescheduled Matchday 29 encounter in Ligue 1.

Viti PROVIDES THE FINISHING TOUCH…

By opening the scoring at La Beaujoire, Vitinha bagged his fifth Ligue 1 goal of the season, giving the Portugal international a total of 22 goal involvements since his arrival in the French capital back in the summer of 2022 (scoring 14 and assisting in eight), which is at least three more than any other Paris Saint-Germain midfielder in the same period.

His goal was a fairly significant one, too, as it was the 28th consecutive time that Les Rouge et Bleu had netted against Les Jaune et Vert in the league. You would now need to go back nearly 20 years to February 2006 to see Les Parisiens fail to score against Nantes in the top flight, making this the longest streak of its kind against a single team in the capital club's history.

…AND PARIS FIND THE BACK OF THE NET ONCE AGAIN

Thanks to the no. 17's strike last night, Paris have now scored in 29 of their 30 league matches this season, with the only exception being their 0-0 draw away to Auxerre in December. Not only are Les Rouge et Bleu the only team in the division to have scored this often, but they have also notched up at least one goal in 55 of their previous 57 outings in the French top flight, racking up a total of 150 goals in the process. On top of this, with 24 wins and six draws under their belt in the current Ligue 1 campaign, Paris Saint-Germain are the only team in Europe's top five divisions to still be unbeaten in their domestic league in 2024–2025.

A NEW EUROPEAN RECORD

Les Canaris may have managed to draw level late in the game last night, but Luis Enrique's men still extended Ligue 1's longest-ever away unbeaten run to 39 matches as well as setting yet another record, this time for the longest-ever run without defeat on the road in Europe's top five leagues, which had previously been held by AC Milan, who went 38 away games unbeaten between 1991 and 1993.

Les Parisiens remain a formidable force at the Parc des Princes, too, as they have now avoided defeat in each of the 32 league matches that they have played – be it at home or away – since May 2024, meaning that all of the ingredients are there for the capital club to hunt down another record, namely their longest-ever unbeaten run across both home and away fixtures in Ligue 1: 36 games between March 2015 and February 2016.
