Corinthians’ Conselho Deliberativo meets on Monday to analyse and vote on reforms to the club statute, after a series of hearings between December 2025 and February 2026 at Parque São Jorge and Neo Química Arena. The draft was finalised by the reform committee in February after two years of input from fans, members and councillors. A council study points to low attendance by councillors.

According to Meu Timao, 95 councillors attended at least one of 11 debate sessions, a figure that drops to 74 across the 10 public hearings that included fans and members.

With 290 sitting members, that equates to 33% attending at least one hearing. Excluding the extra members-only session, attendance falls to 26%.

Council president Romeu Tuma Júnior attended all 11 as chair. Four councillors made 10 appearances, others nine or eight. At the other end, 37 showed once, including 25 only at the closed extra hearing.

Almost half of the 95 also hold internal roles, 45 serve on club bodies or council committees. Two Conselho Fiscal members, Haroldo Dantas and Cláudio Senise, each joined two sessions.

The list skews towards elected triennial councillors, 81 of the 95, equal to 41% of the 200 elected in late 2023. Only 14 life members featured, 15% of the current 90.

Club president Osmar Stabile did not attend any hearing. Some licensed councillors serving as directors were present, and three non-councillor directors also took part in selected meetings.
