Sunderland and Premier League newcomers Hull City have been linked with Charleroi midfielder Yacine Titraoui, who is set for World Cup duty with Algeria amid claims his valuation could rise during the tournament.
According to Maghreb Foot, a source close to Titraoui says both clubs are very interested and that the midfielder dreams of playing in the Premier League. The source added he is focused on the World Cup, Charleroi will not discuss his future before the summer tournament, and that his price could explode if he shines, with the Belgian club seeking the best fee.
Sunderland are finalising summer plans to strengthen Regis Le Bris’ squad after the former Lorient manager led the club into European competition for only the second time in their history.
Titraoui impressed in Belgium last season and has been named among a number of potential recruits linked with Wearside, while Hull are also said to be keen.
Algeria are due to face Jordan, Austria and holders Argentina at the World Cup over the next three weeks.
